2010 Award Winner
The 2010 Award was won by a young journalism student from Wagga Wagga, Georgina Stone. As well as receiving $10,000, Georgina’s winning article was published in The Land newspaper. Georgina is undertaking work experience
with Rural Press and undertook an internship with the media centre at the 2010 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

2009 Award Winner
The 2009 Award of $10,000 was won by Brooke Hargraves. The great news is that Brooke has now completed her studies and is working full-time for a rural newspaper.
