E3 Grants
Young people in rural and regional areas are more likely than those in cities to face problems of access, quality and limited choice in pursuing and completing their education.
In 2008, the RASF is helping to advance educational outcomes for young people in rural and regional NSW through its E3 Grants, in collaboration with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR).
E3 grants cover a range of student and teacher needs such as tuition fees, library books, skill development workshops or extra-curricular activities. The common theme in forming these diverse grants is their aim to ensure that quality education remains accessible to young people in rural and regional communities, irrespective of adverse climatic and economic conditions.
The RASF funds E3 Grants four times a year, distributing approximately $25,000 a quarter.
Closing dates for the remainder of 2008 are:
4 August
3 November
